Alejandra Aranda

Ms. Alejandra Aranda is currently completing her legal equivalency training at the

Université de Montréal. A lawyer in Mexico, she has diverse experience in civil law, as

well as in notarial and estate matters.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad del Valle de México and a double

degree from Universidad Europea de Madrid. As part of her legal training, she

completed an internship with the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies

of Mexico during the LXIII Legislature.

She subsequently worked at the Consulate General of Mexico in Montreal, where she

developed expertise in notarial and estate matters, as well as a practical understanding

of the legal issues affecting Mexican nationals abroad and the interactions between

different legal systems. Her international experience also includes participating in the

activities of the 48th Extraordinary Session of the Inter-American Court of Human

Rights.

Today, Ms. Aranda draws on her civil law background, international experience, and

knowledge of both Mexican and Quebec legal systems in her practice at Oliver avocats.
