Édouard Lamontagne

Mr. Édouard Lamontagne is a law student at Oliver avocats. He holds a Bachelor of

Laws from Université Laval and has gained solid experience in legal research and

analysis, notably through his work as an analyst at the Société québécoise d’information

juridique (SOQUIJ).

In this role, M r. Lamontagne was responsible for reviewing and analyzing decisions

rendered by Quebec and Canadian courts. This experience enabled him to develop in-

depth knowledge of case law, as well as a high degree of rigour in the handling and

analysis of legal information.

During his legal studies, Mr. Lamontagne was also actively involved in university life,

serving on the executive committees of various student organizations. He further

contributed to initiatives aimed at promoting access to justice and advancing the legal

profession, notably through Étudiants Pro Bono Canada and Lawyers Without Borders

Canada.

With a particular interest in civil litigation and advocacy, Mr. Lamontagne draws on his

analytical skills, rigour, and attention to detail to provide thoughtful legal support tailored

to clients’ needs.
