Édouard Lamontagne
Me Édouard Lamontagne is an articling student at Oliver Avocats. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Université Laval and has developed strong experience in legal research and analysis, notably through his work as an analyst at the Société québécoise d’information juridique (SOQUIJ).
In this role, he was responsible for reviewing and analyzing decisions rendered by Quebec and Canadian courts, developing a strong understanding of case law as well as a rigorous approach to the analysis and treatment of legal information.
Throughout his legal studies, Me Lamontagne was also actively involved in university life, serving on the executive committees of various student organizations. He further contributed to initiatives promoting access to justice and the advancement of the legal profession, including through Étudiants Pro Bono Canada and Lawyers Without Borders Canada.
With a particular interest in civil litigation and advocacy, Me Lamontagne brings strong analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail to his work, providing clients with thoughtful and solution-oriented legal support.
